My name is Ursula Rose and I am one part of a worker owned collective tattoo shop in Seattle, WA called Bad Apple Tattoo. Read below for all info on my process & how to book an appointment with me ~

Booking:

Visit my Available flash Page to schedule a flash tattoo appointment. I typically book out 2-3 months at a time, with books opening up one month before my next round of appointments.
I always make announcements for when my books are open/closed on my instagram page (@ursamajortattoo). I do not take appointments or custom requests outside of my “books open” window.

Flash:

Flash is typically one of a kind and designs are booked on a first come, first serve basis with a non-refundable deposit of 75$-150$, depending on design. I’m open to doing certain pieces in all black if color isn’t your thing ~ pieces with that option will be posted with an all black icon as well as a color one, and I will do the design twice if both versions get booked. However, if the piece is only viewed in color do not book unless color is your thing! I am also willing to vary the colors in a design if a certain hue isn’t feeling like the right thing for you.
+ You’re always welcome to request all black work in custom (see customs).

~ I post a lot of color work on my Instagram but I also truly enjoy doing blackwork! Don’t be afraid to ask.

Customs:

I work primarily in flash but also take select customs.
For more info on what kind of customs are gonna be up my alley check out the ‘booking” highlight on my instagram.
Submissions for customs will open a few days before flash drops so that I have time to read and approve designs I’m interested in doing before books open; This way everyone (customs and flash) will get the chance to book on the calendar at the same time.
Custom designs will also require a non- refundable deposit of 75$-150$.

Scheduling:

Once you have selected a flash/had your custom piece approved and paid your deposit, you will receive an automated email confirmation with a scheduling link. Please schedule your appointment right away in order to secure a place during that booking period.

Location & Hours:

Our studio is located in the international district just south of downtown seattle.
Once you pay your deposit and book an appointment you will receive an email with the exact address as well as all other information you’ll need for your day of appointment.

I work Mondays through Wednesdays with appointments at 12pm and 3/330pm,
+ every other Thursday with the same hours.
Available days and time slots will be laid out on the calendar for you to pick from during that booking period. Please make sure the above listed days/times work for you before reserving a design.

Policies:

All clients must be 18+ with a valid ID.

Masks are now optional in our shop: I’m more than happy to come masked for our appointment if you need, just let me know.

We strive to create an environment in our shop that feels welcoming, comfortable and safe:
Racism, homophobia, sexism, ableism, or hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated.

Cancellations:

Once paid your deposit is non-refundable.
However, your deposit can be transferred to a new appointment if you give me at least 3 days notice that you need to reschedule.
Anything less than 72 hours and another deposit will be required to get back on the schedule. My books tend to fill up quickly and I cannot guarantee another appointment during that booking period, so please keep in mind that a cancellation may put you back 1-3 months in line, unless something else opens up. All deposits go towards the final cost of tattoo which will be paid in person after our appointment. *If you reschedule more than 2 times outside of your initial booking you will be asked for another deposit to Re-book

Pricing:

Most of my flash ranges between 250-750$ depending on size, placement, colors, etc.
Customs usually range from 300-1000$ ~ the higher end of that being large scale, realism, heavy fill, or my “painterly rendition” pieces. When putting in a request for a painterly piece please keep in mind these typically take a minimum of 4 hours, or sometimes multiple sessions.

I aim to keep my work accessible to everyone who wants it while also valuing the time, cost and hours I put into my work, during our appointment and also the time spent outside of the shop drawing up my designs.

You are welcome to include your budget when reaching out to me and I’ll do my best to make it work, but I can’t always guarantee every piece will be able to fit into a select price point.

Another note to keep in mind: none of my Flash work is designed to be “micro” tattoos :)))
I’ll list minimum budget/size below a flash piece if it has one, as well as do my best to give you a price quote once we’ve settled on a size/placement for your tattoo if you need one ahead of time.

I also plan on doing a monthly/every couple month flash day with sliding scale/lower priced flash in order to keep my work accessible to those who want it and are working with a smaller budget ~ All flash day announcements will be posted with a heads up on my Instagram.

Touch ups, other:
